Yes! You can take it with you and return to any AmpedHour Station. Check out the AmpedHour App to find a location near you!
Within the App, your display will include duration, cost, AmpedHour Station locations, and current battery level.
No Problem! Return the power bank to the station immediately. Please submit a report via the AmpedHour App. Menu>Help>Report a problem.
Plug the cables back into the power bank and slide it into the station, cables first, until it locks in. The station will confirm that the return was successful as well as you will receive a notification and receipt via the APP.
You are billed by the hour.
Should you decide to keep the charger up to 24 hours, you will only be charged the maximum daily rate.
After 72 hours, you will be charged for the power bank and it is yours to enjoy! No need to return!
Example: If you rent at 7:00pm and return the next day at 6:59pm or before you will be only charged the daily max. If you rent at 7:00pm and return at 7:59pm the following day then you will be charged the daily max plus one hour.
Your card will be pre-authorized for the full amount but you will only be billed for the time that you use. The pre-authorization amount will show as "pending" in your credit card account and will be replaced with the actual amount charged. All credit cards are different but the "pending" pre-authorization should fall off in a few days or less.
If there is ever an issue with billing please contact us thru the app or website.

YES! You can charge the power bank with any USB C charger.
Renting a power bank:
If you find the power bank isn't working, you have a 2 minute grace period to return the power bank back to the station without being charged. Please let us know the reason via "Report a Problem" in the AmpedHour app so we can replace that power bank for future use.
Purchasing a power bank:
Eligibility:
The phone charger must have been purchased from our app within the last 30 days
Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation) is required.
The malfunction must be due to a manufacturing defect. Damages caused by improper use, wear and tear, or external factors (e.g., exposure to liquids, misuse, or physical damage) will not be covered.
Return or Exchange Process:
Contact us at contact@ampedhour.com with proof of purchase.
We will provide the RA and mailing address to return the defective unit
Our team will assess the product to confirm the defect.
If the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing defect, we will offer the following options:
Replacement: A new charger of the same model will be provided, subject to availability.
Refund: A refund will be issued to the original payment method if a replacement is unavailable.
Limitations:
This policy applies only to power banks purchased via the app and not to the hourly rental as outlined above
We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product shows signs of damage unrelated to a defect.
